1) Proposed Trail marker 30 feet in height for an entrance monument for Waimea Valley, Oahu
Hawaii. 2) Similar proposal for two 30 foot high gateway features for the town of
Haleiwa, Oahu Hawaii. The Trail marker concept is to use an indigenous and universal
sculpture form - a pile of rocks, that are stacked like a snowman to mark the way off the
main road and in to the town or park. The Trail markers would be remarkable in that they
will be constructed of one - five ton each of local boulders and will be inscribed with
petroglyphs celebrating the local history, culture and will reflect a vision for the
future. 3) Developing a sculpture with the input of the children, educators, civic
and government individuals of Cape Cod for The Childrens Peace Park of Cape Cod. 4)
A collaboration with The Nature Conservancy - "The Most Beautiful Places on
Earth" In the same spirit as "The Best Beaches of Hawaii", the sites are
places around the world chosen by this premier, private, non-profit environmental
protection organization as being places that need mankinds protection. |
