Rick had his start in the arts with a degree in computer and traditional animation from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale Florida which he graduated from with honors.  From there he worked in Miami Florida doing children's television with Nickelodeon, Telemundo and Unavision.

Feeling unfulfilled working in the corporate scene, he decided to make ago of it on his own by striking out as a Faux Artist and Muralist.  In no time at all he developed a style of art that was exclusively his own.  Working down in size from murals to stretched canvases, Rick now paints in oil paints.
